As the Holiday weather kicks it up a notch, the annual Holiday Blend cold brew recipe arrives to cool things off.

We tapped Guy (from our Auckland team) on the shoulder to put together a no-fuss recipe so you can enjoy it wherever the Holidays take you—no fancy equipment needed. Made with our Holiday Filter Blend, it delivers fresh and tropical notes of chocolate and stone fruit, enjoyed ice cold and perfect for sunny days or any day. Just sit back, relax, and drink it all in.

You’ll need:
A bag of Holiday Blend, a vessel, a paper or cloth filter (muslin cloth works well), 15cm length of string, and water.

The Ratio:
200g of coffee to 1 litre of water. (for a concentrated cold brew with a 1:5 ratio).

Method:
1. Grind your Holiday Blend to a coarse consistency (think plunger grind or coarser).
2. Add the coffee into your filter. Using two filters will reduce the likelihood of grinds escaping into your brew.
3. Use your string to tie up the filters into a coffee bag.
4. Place in your vessel and add 1 litre of water.
5. Leave in the fridge for 24 hours.
6. Remove the bag, and squeeze out any excess cold brew into your vessel.
7. Drink with lots of ice. If drinking concentrate add 1 part concentrate to 1 part water. Enjoy your Holiday.
