We're on the hunt for an Account Manager / Trainer to join our Sydney crew. This is a varied role with the main duties including account management and coffee training.
About the role
As an Account Manager, you will be the go-to person for the customers in your portfolio for all commercial matters - equipment, kg price, new product growth and cafe development - discussions had on a regular and scheduled basis with prepared information to benefit the customer’s performance.
Providing fun and informative coffee training for baristas working with our coffee is another major facet of the role. This is where your excellent barista skills and hospitality experience will come into their own. You'll need to understand the pressures our customers face and respond to this with practical assistance, drawing on all of your pro-tips that you've picked up from your years in the industry.
Some of the main duties are:
- Establish, nurture and maintain strong relationships with the customers in your region’s portfolio.
- Overall responsibility for managing the customer relationship and ensuring that customers receive the highest quality of customer care from Coffee Supreme.
- Gain a knowledge of our products, ordering and delivery methods and processes.
- Gain an understanding of the unique needs, goals and challenges for each customer so that we can tailor our approach to help them to succeed.
- Develop a “toolkit” of strategies to help grow the profitability of existing accounts.
- Create and carrying out a regular visit schedule to the customers in your portfolio.
- Train baristas to make outstanding coffee, using approved Coffee Supreme techniques and approaches.
- Organise training bookings, and provide constructive feedback.
- Document all work in our ERP system
About the person
Building relationships, supporting our customers and connecting people are at the heart of the role. We're looking for a confident and driven individual who is genuine, humble, and can be effective while working autonomously.
To get your foot in the door, you'll need to have top-notch barista skills, great coffee knowledge and ideally know your way around La Marzocco machinery and Mythos or Mazzer grinders. You will have a minimum of two years' hospitality experience and ideally have worked in a management position. Being connected to an existing network of Sydney cafe owners and baristas will be a huge advantage.
This role will suit someone who is super passionate about coffee and the hospitality industry, who is engaging, confident and self motivated. You'll need to be a great communicator and able to relate to people from all walks of life. Having a sense of hustle and a positive outlook are a must.
The successful applicant will:
- Have a high level of espresso making skills in a commercial environment - this is a non-negotiable.
- Have at least 2+ years of hospitality experience and ideally having worked in management positions.
- Have strong customer service skills and an ability to relate to people from all walks of life.
- Have a sound knowledge of the Sydney hospitality scene.
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Be a proactive self-starter with good time management skills.
- Relentless attention to detail.
- Muck in with the team and be effective working autonomously.
- Have a full clean driver's licence.
- Be solutions-focussed.
Extra details
This is a full time role. The ordinary hours of work usually fall between 7.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday, but some hours outside of this will be required from time to time depending on our customers' needs as well as events we are running or participating in.
A full, clean driver's licence is a must. A fully maintained company vehicle is part of the salary package, along with a mobile phone allowance and laptop.
The role involves regular travel around NSW (typically once a month).

We're looking for an energetic and dynamic person to come on board as a casual member of the production team at our Sydney Roastery & HQ.
About the role
The Production Team plays a very literal role in helping us achieve our company purpose and vision by ensuring our customers receive a quality product, delivered exactly as ordered, on time and with warm Supreme hospitality.
- Our cafe customers rely on us to get their orders to them safely and on time so that they can look after their own customers.
- Our at home customers also rely on us to get their orders to them so that they can enjoy a delicious cuppa without having to leave home!
- The CS team relies on us to deliver the amazing service that we have promised to our customers, building trust in our brand and maximising customer retention.
- All of our customers expect to receive the Supreme product they have come to expect and love.
As a Production Assistant you will work closely with the fulfilment team to pick, prepare, package and despatch or deliver customer orders accurately and efficiently, and support our roasting team to deliver a consistently high quality product that our customers expect.
Some of the main responsibilities include:
- Coffee packing and bagging
- Order preparation and fulfilment
- Prepare green coffee for roasting
- Maintaining a tidy and safe production environment
- Processing incoming goods and managing stock
- Working as part of a team to achieve wider team goals
- Participating in events at the roastery
Currently we have casual work available 4 days per week (around 20 hours). The hours of operation are generally between 8.00am and 1.00pm but there is a bit of flexibility in these hours.
About the person
It requires a very strong attention to detail as we have a wide variety of products and each customer has specific requirements. It's also a very busy department, so you'll need to be able to work quickly and efficiently to meet deadlines.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Customer Support Administrator plays a crucial role in achieving our purpose.
They strive to deliver exceptional service and hospitality to our Australian customers, suppliers and friends, as well as supporting and enabling our team to do the same by running efficient administrative systems and processes.
The person in this role provides a main point of contact for our Australian customers, suppliers, and future customers. They work as part of a team to manage incoming orders and enquiries, and for ensuring the smooth operation of the administrative functions of Coffee Supreme Australia.
They also play an important role locally in Sydney, ensuring that our space is maintained and organised. Our office should be warm and inviting for both staff and visitors, and stocked with all the necessary supplies to be able to run smoothly and efficiently..
Some of the main duties include:
- Deliver an exceptional level of service and hospitality to all callers and visitors to Coffee Supreme, which is in line with our core values, philosophy and policies of the company.
- Receive and respond to inbound enquiries within the timeframe expectations set, liaising with various people and departments.
- Manage customer orders, ensuring they are received and entered into the system on time each week, meeting fulfilment deadlines.
- Setup and maintain customer accounts in our system.
- Liaise with couriers and the fulfilment team regarding orders and delivery issues, keeping the customer informed, and organising interim solutions if necessary.
- Team admin support - this could include completing credit card reconciliations, booking technical and/or training jobs etc.
- Accounts receivable management - invoicing, statements, setting up direct debits, allocating customer payments and debtor management.
- Local office management - organise weekly fruit and other supplies for the Sydney office, ensuring the office is kept stocked with all the necessary items, and maintaining high standards or presentation, care and upkeep in our office areas.
- Participating in organising social gatherings for the team.
ABOUT THE PERSON
To be successful in the role, your people skills will need to be on point! Our customers work in a high stress environment - so you'll need to understand this and maintain a positive solutions focussed approach, providing confidence that we are working swiftly to solve any issues. Maintaining a calm and empathetic manner is super important.
Attention to detail and a good memory is also a must - we have a wide product range, and each customer is different, so being able to recall information about our customers and the products they use is essential. Our customers rely on us to get them their orders accurately and on time so that they can run their own businesses smoothly and efficiently.
We're a small team and we all muck in to help each other whenever needed (eg jumping in to help despatch, popping out to drop things off) - so being a team player is a non-negotiable.
