Our little red truck made its return, this time for Melbourne Marathon weekend.

Once again, we teamed up with Tempo Journal to celebrate Issue 01 and the running community around it. We kicked things off at Tempo Gallery in Collingwood for their launch party with Salomon.

We also brought along something new: the Coffee Supreme vending machine, making its debut. Sporting a custom Tempo label, the lucky dip bags were filled with 250g bags of Supreme Blend whole beans, Pillar Performancegels, Ernioldsocks and SHOKZ headphones. Punters tried their luck to see what they got.

Bright and early on Saturday, we took the truck down to the Tan, setting up alongside HOKA’s Pit Stop activation to hand out coffee to runners coming through.

The menu was familiar, with Coffee Supreme cold brew and hot batch brew on offer, alongside a special cold brew topped with cold foam. First introduced in Sydney, where it went down a treat, it was good to bring this one back for another round.

Once the running was done, the truck headed back to Tempo, where it stayed for the rest of the weekend. Runners and friends popped by for the post-marathon celebrations, with cans of Coffee Supreme cold brew on hand to help ease into the afternoon.

Melbourne absolutely turned it on, and it was a great few days. A huge thanks to the Tempo Journal team for bringing us along again, and to everyone who stopped by for a coffee, took a chance on the lucky dip or simply came to say hello.
