About this Coffee
High up in the western highlands of Huehuetenango, Guatemala, you’ll find La Libertad. The Vides family have led the way for coffee cultivation in the region since 1958, now known for its top-quality beans. The family prioritises community support, sustainability, and producing complex coffee.
The region is known for its high altitude, plentiful rainfall, lush shade and moderate temperatures, which all lend a hand to helping grow exceptional coffee. We’re chuffed to have La Libertad back on the menu. With sweet plum and brown sugar notes, a syrupy body and a smooth chocolate finish, you may find yourself reaching for another mug.

Tasting Notes
The Golden Ratio
We recommend a ratio of 60g of freshly ground coffee for every litre of water. This is a good place to start, but you can fine-tune your recipe to suit your taste. You'll find some suggested brewing ratios of hot water to ground coffee for you to use below.
