About this Coffee

Meet Shoondhisa, a standout coffee from Ethiopia’s renowned Guji region. Produced by Sookoo Coffee, the Suke drying station sources organically grown cherries from 35 smallholder farmers to create this naturally processed filter coffee.

Ethiopian farms may be on the smaller side, but boy, do they deliver a mighty cup. With small plots, often intertwined with other crops and forested landscapes, there are fewer trees per hectare and a low yield of just 0.8 kg of cherries per tree per year.

Shoondhisa bursts with fruity notes of raspberry, plum, and apricot. Expect a smooth and clean finish with each sip offering a taste of Guji’s distinctive character.
