About this Coffee

Tucked away in the forest near Danche village, Teshome Gemechu’s washing station is surrounded by small but mighty farms, each around 2–3 hectares. The cherries are hand-picked at peak ripeness, sun-dried for 12 days, and expertly processed at the station’s top-notch facility, bringing out the best in this natural coffee. Farmers are provided pre-harvest financing, organic compost and fertiliser for the top-quality cherries they grow. 


With high altitude, steady rainfall, and generally dry weather, the cherries ripen slowly, intensifying their natural sweetness. The result? A rich, fruit-forward espresso with notes of cherry and dark chocolate and a velvety wine-like body. A perfect cup, with or without milk.
