About this Coffee
Fresh from Kenya, offering bright notes of grapefruit and toffee, Kangunu is one to get on your summer coffee rotation. Formed back in 1996, the Kangunu Farmers Cooperative Society is located along the slopes of Mount Kenya. The region has deep, fertile, well-drained red volcanic soil which is ideal for growing coffee. The farmers handpick only the ripest cherries and deliver them to the wet mill each day during harvest. Here, they are hand-sorted. The level of TLC taken is well worth it, with each cup of Kangunu offering a smooth body and cocoa finish.
