About this coffee

Deliciously sweet and fruity.

Finca Diamante has been owned and operated by the Alvarado family for over a decade. In that time they have renovated much of the farm and turned its fortunes around to the extent that they are now producing some of the region’s finest coffees.

Despite the remote location in the highlands of the Intibuca department, Francisco Alvarado and his wife and sons have dedicated themselves to producing the best coffee they possibly can. They depulp their cherries and let them dry-ferment for 24 hours before washing  the lots in special tanks. The parchment is then dried on meticulously maintained cement patios and finished in solar driers.
