About this coffee

A rich nutty chocolate coffee.

De Dios is run by Ellen de Prentice who inherited the farm from her father some years ago. Sitting in the mountainous Fraijanes region of Guatemala, the farm covers 27 hectares with one third being reserved rainforest.

Ellen, an Agricultural Engineer, is deeply passionate about both preserving the environment of the farm and producing the highest quality coffee possible. She built a wet mill a few years ago and with the help of her daughter, closely monitors every aspect of pre and post-harvest activity. They cup each single lot produced and go so far as storing their finished coffee in their own house to ensure its preservation.
