Light and fruity with hints of chocolate.

Thisξcoffee comprises of smallξorganic lots produced by a handful of farmers within the region of Planadas, where coffee is one of the main pillars of the regionsŠ—È economy.

The high standard of the soil in this area, which contains sandy clay loam and mineral rich volcanic ashes, provides plentiful nutrients for the plants.

Organic coffees are not very common in Colombia because their production is very slow and the price per kilogram is higher than the standard. However farmers who adopt organic production make a welcome contribution to reducing contamination of the soils and groundwater in the area.
