About this Coffee

The Montaño family know a thing or two about growing great coffee. Renowned across Colombia’s Huila region, they’ve been at it for generations, and this lot comes from Leonardo Montaño. Taught by his father, Arturo, Leonardo now tends a small two-hectare plot at La Ondina with his wife, Monica, growing Castillo, Colombia variety, and contributing to the rich coffee heritage of their family and region.

After picking, the cherries are de-pulped, fermented for 12 hours, washed, and sun-dried before a final 40 hours of mechanical drying. Roasted for espresso, La Ondina is what you can expect from a classic washed Huila coffee — sweet, nutty, and effortlessly high-quality. So what are you waiting for? Notes of green apple, raisin, and white sugar with a smooth finish await your mug.
