About this coffee

A sweet and zestyξColombian.

The municipality of Linares in Southwestern Colombia is located in the department of Nari’±o. Coffee is grown all over this region, with a heavy concentration of coffee farming communities that encircle the Galeras volcano. Here among seemingly endless sugar cane fields and coffee trees, we find Hector Arturo Toro΂s farm Cucho Gramal.

Hector grows two varieties of specialty coffee on his property, Castillo and Colombia Supremo. The latter of the two is a variety developed here and specifically bred for the cherries΂ superior size.

When Hector and his family are not making their livelihood with coffee, they also grow and harvest a small but commendable sugarcane crop.
